The flagship Nintendo franchise made its first official appearance on the Wii with the release of Super Mario Galaxy. Many consider the title to be the first true Super Mario title since Super Mario 64, which many fans will find similarities with. The biggest difference in Galaxy when compared to every other Mario game past is the way you control Mario in the environments. Youll be leaping from planet to planet, being launched from galaxy to galaxy all while collecting coins, star bits and everything else.

The experience can be a bit disorienting at first, since you are in space and floating from one place to the other or running across a miniature planet is truly out of this world. However, once you get past the first stage the game begins to flow and experience becomes very enjoyable. Theres no true two player mode, but you are able to help out as second player by collecting star bits and holding down enemies.

As expected, Super Mario Galaxy doesnt disappoint and is a truly a must-own for any Nintendo Wii Owner.
