Reviewing: Nintendo Ead Super Mario Galaxy

What may be the greatest video game series ever created is now turning in its next project for grading.Super Mario Galaxy is what I call a true Mario game. There are many video game series that feature Mario that may make this fall between the cracks:Mario Baseball, Mario Party, Super Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, etc.A true Mario game, each time made, breaks ground somehow, let's see what Nintendo EAD came up with. The centennial Star Festival is happening for the first time in 100 years (if you didn't figure that out).Upon meeting Princess Peach, as usual, Bowser, the King of the Koopas, is here to kidnap her.Wait! This time, he unearths the entire castle and carries it into outer space with his giant ship.Mario must now save her!In this quest, Mario meets Rosalina and the Lumas, a bunch of star "embryos" aching to become "grown-up" stars, like the sun.Rosalina's Star Observatory, an unpowered facility, is where your "home base" will be.Once the Star Observatory restores its power, you will be able to travel to "the center of the universe" to rescue Princess Peach. This game will keep you very busy even after you complete the game. There are 120 stars to collect throughout the universe, yet the game only requires you to collect a little more than half that. There are Star Bits that Mario collects to advance to certain parts of the universe that just appear while you are fighting monsters.A multiplayer option allows players that are not Mario to point at Star Bits to collect them for Mario, so this introduces somewhat of a multiplayer mode for the game.Overall, this is the best game for the Wii thus far in terms of quality.Make this a part of your Wii software collection and you will play it for weeks.
