Super Paper Mario
By blegs1992 onDo you all remember the good days when there was Super Mario Brothers for the Nintendo Entertainment System?I can't, because I've never been there, but I have played the game.Super Paper Mario is Super Mario Brothers meets some amazing puzzle game.In this game, you play the game like you would Super Mario Brothers, but you have the ability to "flip" from 2D to 3D.This means that you can go from the world we all love to a 3D and realistic world. The game makes clever use of this trick to make it almost a puzzle game.Yet, this game is more fun than any other puzzle game I have played (including Bejeweled).Another thing that should be noted is that you hold the controller sideways like a regular NES controller, to make you feel like you are really taking a step back. You start by playing the game as Mario, with his brother Luigi, both plumbers, who are going to rescue Princess Peach from the evil Koopa King Bowser (a turtle with spikes on his back and can breathe fire). In the middle of this fray, a figure by the name of Count Bleck appears and creates chaos.Everyone involved goes to an unknown world, separated from each other.Mario ends up on Flipside, a town, and meets a butterfly-thing named Tippi who seems to be fairly wise.Mario and Tippi embark on a quest to find the missing Pure Hearts to rescue the others and defeat Count Bleck.Throughout the story, Mario will rescue Peach, Luigi, and Bowser and be able to play as these characters who all have advantages and disadvantages.Overall, this game is overly underated (oxymoron, lol) by most game reviews. This is the best Paper Mario game and is one of the best titles that you can buy for your Wii.I command you to buy this game if you have a Wii (if not, get a Wii then buy it).
