Since our family had a pet rabbit, we chose to buy it a little hideaway that it could snuggle up in. We saw that they had this in the cage at the pet store when we purchased the pet rabbit so we thought that it would be a good idea. Well of course she slept in it every night and it really seemed to keep her warm and comfortable. We were told at the store that baby rabbits usually like to have a place where they can snuggle up and stay warm. eventually we begin to notice that she did not like sleeping inside anymore so we read some information that said they look wooden hutches or boxes instead. So the igloo did not seem to work anymore for the rabbit. I would still say that this product is good but I would not recommend purchasing it for a rabbit but perhaps for another small animal instead.
