Super-Sized TV Remote

My children thought this would be a great gift for me.I am in my 50's and yes my eye sight isn't what it used to be. Funny huh?
We were looking in a store called Brookstone in our local mall. They saw this displayed and brought it over to me.I laughed and then thought hmmm how interesting.I read the instructions because I was curious if it really worked or it was just a gag gift.
It actually worked on the television in the store.It has codes for 296 most popular devices.It controls your TV, VCR, DVD player, satellite, cable and auxiliary A/V device. I really liked that it glowed in the dark! Cool feature!
It is so large that you will have a hard time losing it.I have so many remote controls for each device in my living room.At times I can't locate one or two.This is a great all in one remote control.
Even though I know they were kidding me about it, I wouldn't mind having one!
This would be a great gift for my 89 year old Grandma. She has glaucoma, so it's difficult for her to operate the TV and DVD remotes because she can't see the tiny buttons on the remote. Thanks for the info!
I agree that at first glance this remote control is funny to many, but it definitely has its usefulness!
Had one of these and a no go for my TV
ha ha - we got one from friends a couple years ago and I love using it. Always a conversation starter.
