Super Smash Bros. Melee

I bought Super Smash Bros. Melee with high expectations because the prequel was one of the best games I had ever played. All of my expectations were met and surpassed. Super Smash is a platform fighting game featuring many of Nintendo's trademark characters like Mario, Luigi, Link, and Pikachu. Each character has its own special set of moves, which must be used in the right situations in order to knock your opponent off the stage and win the match. You start with 11 characters, but you can unlock 14 more. The game truly shines in 4 player multiplayer. You can compete against each other with a free for all, or team up for 2v2s. If friends are not over, you can either try out the slightly repetitive single player, or fight against challenging computer controlled players. The games' graphics are also top-notch for the gamecube console, and the music is very catchy. I recommend this product to all with gamecubes, and I would even say it is worth buying a gamecube for this game alone.
