Superb, Wonderful, Luxurious And Unbelieving By Chris Kong on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
I was on board this Straits of Malacca Cruise last year and the words to describe it is...superb, wonderful, luxurious and unbelieving.
Pros: Accomodation is wonderful with ample space and air conditioning, television and beds of course. For entertainment, there is ample choices like swimming on deck, gyms, sauna, jog, library, dance, watching movies, karaoke, even golf and of course the casino. I spent most of my time in the Oasis Casino playing my favourite slot machines. Food ia aplenty and delicious with a wide choices of western, international or Chinese. I did not pay a single cent on board for food because it is fare inclusive and we can eat as much as our stomach allowed. The staff and crew on board are more than friendly and courteous.
Cons: None that I can think of really, except if you want to save money, go for the cruise during the off peak period where you can even get up to 50% discount for the same cruise with the same comfort, food and entertainment.
Star Cruise Super Star Virgo

OMG, all you can eat food and a casino on the cruise? Sounds like my idea of a GREAT time! So glad you had fun and thanks for sharing the info about it!
I have never been on a cruise but your tip about going in the off season might be a good time to try cruising!

The Straits of Malacca Cruise sounds like a lot of fun. Nice article!
I have been on 2 Carnival Cruises and looooved them but I am wanting to try another cruise line for my next trip. This sounds like a good one!
I never heard of this line, sounds nice.
is this the same star cruise Virgo i had when i was in singapore, anyways i enjoyed star cruising, i spent 2 nights on the ship, and dont enough time to do all the activities ther, cinema, variety shows, casino, clubs, kareoke and lot more, and the endless food.
sounds nice, i've never been on a cruise before but hope to at least go on one in my lifetime.
