Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie A. Morissette By dmk417 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I love me an angry chick with a killer voice! I have been informed that not everyone *loves* Alanis Morissette. I don't associate with those people. If you have yet to form your opinion, consider this album. Released following the mega-success of Jagged Little Pill, Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie faced a lot of ridicule, and can still be a difficult record to find. Although this album did not reach the heights of popularity that the first one did, it is my opinion that Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie is the better cd. In fact, I believe that one day, it will be re-considered and those of us who knew better can frolic in our right-ness. In this sophomore record by Alanis Morissette, she isn't so angry anymore. She shows a softer side, but still gives you some rockin' tunes to sing along with. This album is more about forgiveness and reconciliation, and your heart feels a little lighter when you hear it. She never lets you down with her amazing voice and story-telling abilities, not to mention her talented musicianship.
