Sometimes I purchase cheaper brands of laundry detergent, but my beloved mother who is 84 years old thinks you should spend your money on good laundry detergent that cleans clothes and has a nice scent. So, today we were at Kmart picking up some other items and I had a bottle of liquid detergent in my hand which would have been just fine with me. My mother insisted that she purchase Surf with All stain lifters, the sparking ocean scent laundry detergent, 80 loads size of powder. She said that she preferred the powder over the liquid. Surf was not on sale, but was $9.99. My mother always used another brand of laundry detergent for many years, but changed to Surf when it came out and she has liked it ever since. It does have a nice clean scent. On the box it says that it freshens down to the fibers and that the stain lifters safely remove tough stains from you family's clothes. I will say that items like towels and sheets do smell nice after being washed in Surf. I have used cheaper laundry detergent that left the same scent in the clothes that was in there before they were laundered. I think that Surf was a good buy today and I like the sparkling ocean scent, too. Thanks to my mother I will have no excuse for not doing laundry now.
