Surf Shack 500 Puzzle

My son and I decided to take the plunge this summer and attempt to put together a 500 piece puzzle. We have never attempted one with so many pieces before, but when I found this adorable puzzle called "Surf Shack" by FX Schmid, we knew it was worth a try.

This 500 piece puzzle has a final size of 24" x 18". It says "standard size" on the box, so we plan to frame the final puzzle once we get a chance to use puzzle glue and seal the final puzzle together.

This is an adorable retro style puzzle featuring a "surf shack" as well as 12 different brightly colored and patterned surfboards and boogie boards leaning up against a fence. There is also a post with handpainted signs pointing to several famous beaches, such as Newport Beach and Doheny Beach.

The pieces are of a truly high quality and are cut very well. This was my first FX Schmid product, and I will definately try others. I really liked that the puzzle was full of different colors and patterns. It was a good puzzle for my son and I to put together...we could work on one area at a time. Sometimes puzzles are all one color, for example, different shades of blue, and it makes it more difficult to put together. By having so many distinct colors and patterns, it was easier for us to put together!

This was so much fun to work on together...I highly recommend!
