I have spent an enormous amount of money on pillows. As a side sleeper, my arm falls asleep frequently at night.I wake up constantly with aggravating pain in my neck, shoulders and upper back. I decided to search for pillows online for side sleepers.I took a chance and spent 60 dollars on a body pillow that is over 100 inches.

The purpose of the pillow is to give frontal support for arms and shoulders for side sleepers, or pregnant women. It also will give back support, and this seems to keep me from tossing and turning because it cradles your body, making it unable to shift around. The SurroundU pillow nestles around the neck and shoulder, giving the exact support you need.

After using the pillow the first time, I woke up feeling refreshed, without any neck or shoulder pain.I couldn't believe that I finally found the right pillow.

The only downside is that it is made with fiberfill, which in time, will flatten out.I used it around four months or so and had to buy another one. That will total $240.00 a year at that rate, but if it gets rid of that nagging pain, then I will do it.

The overall design of this pillow sounds great! I agree with kaylala that a pic would be great so that we could see what it looks like. It is too bad that the pillow breaks down so quickly though... $240 a year on pillows could be better spent on a similar shape pillow with a better fill. I hope that you can find one!

I had a body pillow back when I was pregnant but our dog tore it apart after that. When I sleep on my side I usually have to ball my comforter under my leg for support. I have tried smaller pillows but can never get them just right. Maybe it's time to look for another body pillow. Thank you for reminding me of these.

Maybe down would be a better alternative to the microfiber. It costs more initially but it doesn't break down like them. I love my down pillows. Every morning I just shake em and fluff em up and they're good to go!

I used to have a U shaped body pillow too & it was awesome. I spent a fortune on it, but it was well worth it. I hated to give it up once I got married, but in our queen size bed, there just wasn't room for the both of us & my pillow...besides, I like snuggling up to my husband better.

I am a side sleeper and I too have problems with my arms falling asleep. I have seen this pillow at the maternity shop just week. I think it sounds great but maybe they could make it with a different stuffing so that it will last longer. I wonder if you could put it in the dryer and fluff it back up? Thanks for the suggestion for all us side sleepers.

Wow, big investment, but probably cheaper than sleeping pills... and much safer!
