Sweep AND Collect!
By jayjay1113 onWhile shopping at the Proctor & Gamble warehouse sale recently I came across a product I've never heard before - Black & Decker's Sweep & Collect. The cost was $9.99 + tax but I thought to give it a try even though this is the most expensive broom I've purchased!
The Sweep & collect is basically a broom with a motorized dustpan attached. There's nothing fancy about the broom - it sweeps like any other broom. However, what sets this broom apart from all of the others is that with the click of a button on the broomstick you can release the motorized dustpan. The motorized dustpan has a brush roll that lifts sweeped debris into a dirt cup.
Installation of the broom was very easy. It also came with a yellow 'Tips for Useage' card with easy to follow instructions and pictures. This broom takes 2 x AA batteries and since it is heavier than regular brooms due to the motorized dustpan, you should hang it up using the hook provided or another hook device in order to prevent damage to the bristles of the broom. Emptying the dustbin is also easy.
Tired of bending over to sweep your dust into the dustpan? I was! Thank goodness I found the Black & Decker Sweep & Collect broom and motorized dustpan!
B&D have some great products...if I needed one, I'd choose this I think...dustpans and I just don't get along very well :) Great info, thanks!
