This is one of those things you see advertised on a late night infomercial and you think "yeah, right". I happened to be at a local store that has an "As Seen On TV" section. While sorting through the various oddities, I came upon the Sweep 'N Mop. The blurb on the box states "sweep and mop all at the same time!" And guess what? It does! I bought one and tried it out on my kitchen floor. The "patterned ridge cleaning system" actually does pick up loose dirt. It wet mops the floor with a squeegee type action that works very well. I actually do sweep with a regular broom before I use the mop though, it seems to clean better and it is much easier to clean the mop without the loose dirt. However, it's really good for cleaning hard to get at places you may have missed. The down side is that the mop head gets hard as a rock between uses and needs to be soaked for a few minutes before using. Also, the mop head seems to be wearing out now, and I will have to find a replacement on line. I do like the Sweep 'N Mop, just for the neat squeegee action though and I will continue to use it.
