Sweet Revenge By Diane Mott Davidson By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I am lucky to have friends and relatives who know how much I love reading. I'm given books for gifts as well as gift certificates to Barnes and Noble.
I have been reading the Goldy Culinary Mysteries by Diane Mott Davidson. One of these books, Sweet Revenge, is the subject of this review. In Sweet Revenge, Goldy, who owns a catering business, is catering a breakfast for the library as well as a dinner for some Southerners who have moved to Aspen Meadow, Colorado. Somehow, the former DA gets himself killed, and Goldy again is embroiled in another murder. Sweet Revenge also features antique maps, which play a part in the story, and people who are supposed to be dead turning up alive. And all of this is happening right around Christmas, when Goldy already has enough to take care of.
Sweet Revenge is another adventure for Goldy Schulz, owner of Goldilocks Catering. She always manages to find trouble, or maybe it's trouble that finds her. I enjoy Diane Mott Davidson's culinary mysteries, they are a lot of lighthearted fun, amusement and entertainment.
