Swiffer Sweeper Replaces Broom By Moonshadow68 on - Updated Sep 18, 2011
The Swiffer Sweeper is a great replacement for a broom and a mop. With the dust-collecting clothes attaches, the Swiffer Sweeper is much better than a traditional broom at cleaning pet fur and dust from hardwood floors and vinyl flooring. The Swiffer fails a bit when there are large particles on the floor, but it gets up dust bunnies and pet fur better than a broom or dust mop. The dust clothers are also very effective for use at dusting household knicknacks.
The sweeper also has optional wet swiffer clothes which are great for spot cleaning. If something has been spilled or after mud gets tracked in during a storm, the sweeper is great for cleaning up the immediate mess. The Swiffer sweeper only falls short when it is used for a large area. The cloth quickly becomes dirty and cannot clean anymore. In addition, though the cloth is equipped with a scrub pad for hard to get up messes, the scrub pad does not work well at all.
