Reviewing: Circo Swim Diaper
Purchased at: Target     Price: $5.99 USD

I bought one of the Circo swim diapers last year at Target.I thought that reusable cloth swim diaper would be a great way to save a little money, since disposable ones are so expensive. This diaperis shaped like a regular swim diaper with elastic around the legs and waist. It fits snuggly so I thought it would hold everything in.

The first few times he wore it we didn't have any problems.I'd put it on under his swim trunks and we'd head to swimming lessons. On about the 3rd or 4th day I guess, I put it on him a little early and was carrying him around. The next thing I knew my side was all wet and we weren't at the pool yet!I thought maybe it was just a fluke and maybe I didn't have it adjusted the right way, so it leaked. The next time he wore it, it leaked again. After that we quit using them. They just didn't work like the disposable ones did.I hate to think what would have happened if he'd had a dirty diaper - Yuck!My advice is to stay away from the circo swim diapers.

Oh no! I just bought this for my daughter. I was pretty leary about using it now I am just down right scared. I will keep it in mind when I use this, if I use this!

I have always wondered how you could tell if these really worked or not... they are always wet. I guess you figured out that they might not be! Yucko.

I'd write or call Circo directly and "share" your experiences with their swim diaper, then update their response, if any, right here. If we all did this with the really shoddy products AND publicized their responses for the public to read... well:)

Excellent information. I am a big fan of the Disposable Swimmers. I will let me my friends know to avoid these big time.

The diaper is fine if it leaks pee. Swim diapers are not designed to necessarily keep pee in. It might not have been as absorbent as you like but the purpose of them is to keep POO in. Urine is sterile when it leaves the body so in a properly treated pool, a little baby pee is not a health threat.
