Swingers By Tifffany on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Swingers was filmed in 1996 and stars Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau as 2 friends who go to Vegas for a good time. Favreau is suffering from a recent breakup when Vaughn convinces him to go to Vegas and attempts to cheer him up with Woman, gambling, and anything else he can think of. The story is fairly simple, as I described, and the actors are really what makes the movie. There is not a ton of plot, which can make the movie kind of boring and direcionless at times, but it tends to pick up after the lulls as well. Vaughn repeatedly calls anything he likes money, as in "that's so money", and I've heard this expression used liberally in the movie and in pop culture as well. The movie was written by John Favreau and is losely based on his own experiences when he first moved to LA. This movie is definitely watchable, but isn't a "must see".
