Swiss Chocolates Worth The Calories By BillF on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I received a 122 gram box of fine swiss chocolates as a gift. It contained 12 bite size chocolates which are in the upper tier of chocolates in my opinion. I tend to find most US chocolate makers too sweet especially now after my diet and abstaining from chocolates for almost 6 months overly made made sweatened items taste too sweet to me. It contains 4.5 % Absinthe. It has nice packaging in green with a fairy above the name. The candy itself has green swearls on the top. This made a lot more sense when I looked up the name on wikepedia. Absinthe is a highly alcholic Anise Flavored spirit often described as "green fairy". When I ate them I did not feel any of the mythical effects of the special alcahol but I did feel the effects of a well made flavorful and not too sweet European style chocolate. Trying to transalte the box in three languages, I do not speak I can decipher a few of the french words as ingrediant is first sugar and second and third are types of cocoa.
