Sword of the New World
By Ninpo onSword of the New World is a Korean MMORPG, it is also known as Granado Espada in Asia. I was impressed with the trailers, its enough to suck you into it. The character models and its innovative system is good, but it doesn't make up for its lack of "fun". In this game you can create many characters and have up to 3 while you play. It feels as if you play with a team. Sounds fun? Well its actually pretty hard because you have 3 characters and you're trying to use them all at the same time. While fighting you need to choose who's fighting and who's healing and in a hard battle with a boss its hard to switch onto another character in the middle. The game is also linear, by linear I mean that there's not much that makes it different from the definition of a mmo. The other problem is that you can "bot". In other words there, you can switch on a button that makes you hit anything that comes near you. Your characters can also revive by themselves after about 60 seconds. I don't really mind it that much but what it affects I hate. Say you want to play the game and decide to train, there's a guy botting and you ask him to stop. He won't do anything because he's botting. Sure you can move to another spot, but then again EVERYONE's botting. Its just not a game I think I can get into as of now, but maybe in time once they decide a new system.
