I recieved this Sylvania TV/VCR combo unit as a gift two years ago. It has held up well beyond my expectations. It is a very convenient size. Right now I have it sitting on a dresser in the bedroom. I have also used it in the kitchen to watch a movie on VHS tape while I cook. It has some cool features too. I especially like the one called "sleep timer". I use this feature when I am going to sleep at night. I turn on the channed that I want to see, push the sleep timer button, set it for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1 hour 30 minutes or 2 hours. The television will automatically shut itself off at that time. I like to fall asleep with the television on and this way I don't have to get back up and turn off the television. No wasting electricity leaving it on all night. It's a great little unit and I would highly recommend this for a bedroom or kitchen.

Sounds like a great little TV. Might get this for when my daughter or son come to visit. They insist on having a TV on to fall asleep and when I get up in the morning it is still on. Like this idea of turning off! Thanks
I think these are so practical in some applications. I suppose as we use fewer and fewer VCRs it will become less so, but meanwhile these can be very handy. The timer function is great too!
I used to have a sleep timer on my television set and I used that feature all the time!
Sounds like a nice TV/VCR for any room of the house.
These small televisions are nice for moving them here and there. :)
My parents have this same set in their kitchen and it has also done very well.
I love combination tvs like this. And this size would fit perfectly in my bedroom.
