This products is part of the Crayola Beginnings line for toddlers. The crayons are designed for ages 12 months and up. The Crayon Buddies are 3 crayon holders designed to fit into a childs palm. I bought this because my little one loves to color, but she also loves to eat the crayons. I hoped the holders would stop my toddler from eating the crayons. It didn't. But she is only able to eat the tip rather than most of the crayon like before. So that is a plus. The crayons can be pushed up until it runs out. You can also change out crayons, but I haven't tried it yet. The instructions are included and it looks easy. I like these crayon holders for many reason. First, they are easy for my toddler to hold. Second, they are much easier to find than regular crayons. I don't know how many times I've lost a crayon because it rolled away. These crayons wobble but they don't roll away. Third, the holders are cute! They are 3 colorful characters sticking their tongues out. I think this is a great starter for any budding artist.
