My husband is a watch fanatic, he has 3 TAG Heuer's, an Oakley and a Rolex and is always looking for more to add to his collection. I, on the other hand, am usually quite happy with any brand, and I had been wearing the same Coach watch for almost 8 years. While getting my wedding ring inspected for its semi-annual "check-up", we were looking at watches and the TAG Heuer Aquaracer caught my eye.
I tried it on, and it was a huge difference from my existing Coach watch. It was a lot bigger and heavier, the face was round instead of square, it felt HUGE. It was intriguing though, and I started thinking that I might like to have that watch! I finally decided that I not only wanted the watch, but that I *DESERVED* the watch, and requested hubby to purchase it for me as the "push present" of our second child. He actually listened to me, and totally surprised me with it a week before our daughter was due when we were out to dinner. Score!!
This watch is awesome. I love the style of it, the brushed stainless steel bracelet, the mother of pearl face and the diamond chip number markers. The larger face (27mm) took a bit to get used to, but now you couldn't get me to go back to a smaller face. The watch is also water resistant to 300 meters, which I'll take their word for, I'm no swimmer! I will say that the watch does great with spit up and cleanings, it's been cleaned a couple times already in the two short months I've had it (thank you daughter!).
I am really glad that I encouraged hubby to splurge on me for this purchase, with TAG's quality, I know this watch will last for many years, and it will look great that entire time as well!

I love my Tag and am looking for a second one. They are the best watches. Funny I never got a push present, do you think 6 1/2 years has been too long for me to go back and ask for one? I deserve a new TAG too!
I love Tag watches. They are gret spoty looking timepiece of impeccable style and craftmanship. I love seeing them on a mans arm. I actually prefer them to the ubiquitous Rolex because they send that understated message I love.
Happy for you, but I need to put a decimal point in the middle of that figure for my watches!

I almost choked when I saw the price! Wow...good for you and good for hubby for listening to your request! I think it's very stylish and sounds like you love it. After all, that's priceless!

I am not a watch person... I used to be, but even then I never got out of the 2 digit range... Now I just don't wear one. ;-)
