Take A Rain Check By RachelReviews on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Baths are intrinsically pampering. Yet skin dryness is a symptom of a hot bath. Kind of an oxymoron, don't you think? When I use rain check by GapBody, I definitely feel like I am sealing moisture in, rather than letting it escape right into the bath water.

The amount of bath oil is ginormous. It contains 16.0 fl oz / 500 mL in a big heavy glass bottle. In general, I don't like glass bottles for oil products because oil can get on the outside during the pouring process. Thus, the bottle gets slippery and breakage can occur. But, I can look past all that since I think the bottle of oil is so, so pretty to look at.

If you do not clean your tub immediately after taking a bath with rain check, you will observe an unsightly yellow ring around it. I did not really appreciate that, but it did force me to clean my tub.

One thing I absolutely love about rain check is the clean, fresh scent. It sort of reminded me of the defunct, gap fragrance, Grass, only much sweeter. I also think it smells a bit like cucumber.

There are some quality ingredients in here including: soybean oil, safflower seed oil, coconut oil, rice bran oil, sesame seed oil and Vitamin E.
