For Christmas a couple of years ago now I recieved this camera. I'd been longing for a new one now that my children were growing older.

After looking online and researching many cameras I decided this was the one. I placed it on my list with my parents and low & behold I got it!

The display could be a little bigger or I could be a little less blind. Over all I really love this camera. The details that you can see when taking pictures are awsome even without having it set at the highest for resolutions. Taking pictures of the kids in the tub splashing you can even see the droplets of water from splashes. Or single beads of sweat from people playing outside on a hot day. Totally worth the little bit of extra money.

It's pretty easy to start using - within 5 minutes of opening the box I was able to figure out how to take video and really good pictures.

The internal memory isn't that huge, but with an SD card you can take lots more.

I also really love the extra setting for picture taking: automatic, movies, flowers, night portrait, close up, backlight, snow, fireworks, beach, and party settings.
