Hi All,More info on alternitive meds for Alex. When recently Alex was tested for food allergies he was found to be gluten and dairy intolerent. So we switched to a coeliac and vegan diet and to reset the flora in his gut he now takes Inner Health Plus Dairy Free. In these tablets there is 25 billion live good bacteria-medical strength acidolphilus and bifdobacterium. These tablets help us to replace good bacteria after we rid his system of the bad bacteria preventing him from properly digesting his food. When foos is not properly digested it stays around way too long causing such things as crohn's IBS and just general unhealthy digestion. I guess it would be like never servicing your car and putting rubbish fuel in it and expecting it to go everyday, it will eventually break down.I would suggest these to anyone for a support to a healthy diet. Gluten intolerance is probably the cause of more health problems than we realize! It sounds like the Paleo Diet would be good for your little guy. Also know as the Caveman Diet. No wheat, no dairy....., but still very nutritious.
