Taking Drawing To Another Level By infomom on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My son is a little bit more than on the creative side, at 8 years of age his art work is already detailed and amazing. The one thing that is missing is the colors, he does mostly sketching which makes the artwork look unfinished and incomplete sometimes.

So when he received a pack of Blendy Fusion Pens for his birthiday it seemed like a way to encourage him to add a little color to his work.

What a fiasco.

Blendy pens do exactly what they say, they blend into everything, almost every aspect of the picture was mired in dark colors that bled everywhere.

To put it bluntly he may as well have been using magic markers for all the control he had over shading and hues.

So they ruined his hard work, because he will literally work all day on one drawing, and they were all over his hands at the end of the project.

I'm not big on being negative, but I can't recommend these pens, I can only be glad they were a gift and didn't cost us a dime.

Poor little fellow - too bad the pens didn't work out for him, but bet it was still a great piece of art work in mommy and daddy's eyes :) Thanks for the info

Sounds bizarre. I'm glad I've never seen them near me.
