Talk To Me Dvd By shulockabaulugy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Talk to Me gets by on the flash of Don Cheadle's performance of Petey Greene, the Washington D.C. DJ who practically created talk radio. I think this is my favorite performance of his of his career. The cast is stellar. The director an unsung gem. Talk to Me gets the soul right. Cheadle and Ejiofor, two of the more talented black actors around, know how to do this rap. They jump on the opportunity to feed off each other's talent, and Talk to Me glides along on the comfortable vibes of perfect acting moments concealed in the smallest noisiest parts of life. It doesn't pimp itself. The story of friendship is as deep and effecting as you are going to see on the big screen. But the story of this man and his powerfully unique contribution to the civil rights movement and AMERICAN HISTORY is what catapults this movie to the top of my list of top 5 movies ever. Get up, get out and see this movie. Talk to Me, Talked to Me.
