Talladega Nights Dvd By Patrick on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This film is the perfect, comedic stereotype of NASCAR, and it plays its part well. It is a typical Will Ferrell movie, with slapstick humor and senseless comedy, for which I love it. The diaogue is truly what makes this movie, I think I could just listen to it and enjoy it as much as wathcing. That may be a positive or a negative, I'm not really sure. This DVD actually has two full movies contained on it, the theater version and an extended version with lots of deleted scenes, which I love to see. The extra feautres really make this DVD worth buying, moreso than the film itself I think. They have a gag reel, interviews with the main characters (not the actors, but the actual characters), and loads of other extras on top of the normal deleted scenes and commentary. The main fault to this movie is that it came after Anchorman, which has formed a standard for the rest of Will Ferrel's films to be compared to, and it doesn't quite live up to Ron Burgundy.
