Tampax With 3 Way Protection By Jessica Yamaguchi on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Tampax is the brand I have used since I was very young. They have made a few changes to the design that I think has made them better!
They have added an anti-slip grip feature to their cardboard applicators. This is simply 4 slight indents placed around the bottom of the applicator (the stable piece, NOT the part that slides) and a few raised bumps to aid grip. I laughed when I saw this but actually find it easier and more convenient to use.
Tampax has also added a built in “back up skirt” to the absorbent part of the tampon. They say that it quickly whisks away any wetness. This looks like a thin piece of gauze but actually seems to do a good job. I have had no accidents since using them.
They also say they have redesigned Tampax to “fit your unique shape” I don't really notice a difference there, Other than no accidents.
The wrappers are strong durable and flushable, the tips are rounded…and
As I have said, I have had no problems with these… I do feel they offer better protection with all the changes. They are as comfortable as a product like this can be. I will say that I feel much more confident now when using these than I did before…or with any other brand.
I buy the Super absorbency, usually from Sam's club. They have the 100 count box for around $10.00. I would imagine you can buy them anywhere they sell Tampax.

I trust the Tampax brand and really like the small, but not insignificant changes they've made. Because these are worn in an intimate area inside our bodies, I just trust in major brand nsames for protection.
Tampax is a reputable company that has been around for years and have earned my trust, that is for sure.
