Tanyo Half Traxx Review
By lordofdarkness66 onI love remote control cars. Especially the ones that are heavy or look like tanks or army vehicles. So when I saw the Half Traxx by Tanyo I just had to buy it. As its name implies, its a half-tracked vehicle. What that means is that its front portion has wheels and the back portion is tracked. Its body is something of a cross between a sports car and an all purpose vehicle. It uses 8 AA sized batteries (omg). The batteries can be charged while they are in the vehicle by means of connecting it to an external charger. This gives the vehicle a LOT of power. It can go over any terrain and when it is on a flat surface it can out beat any other remote controlled car in terms of speed. However there was a problem when using it. The controls suddenly became reversed- i.e the vehicle went forward when it was supposed to go backward. Luckily it comes with a warranty so they gave me a replacement but the new model started doing the same thing after a few weeks. Obviously a manufacturing defeat. Tanyo should rectify this problem in this otherwise amazing toy.
