Target Diapers miss the Mark
By LJohnson onAnyone with a newborn knows how expensive diapers are, and how quickly that expense adds up.Trying to stick to a budget, I figured that I would try a cheaper brand of diapers from my regular Pampers Swaddler brand. While browsing at Target, I saw a good size pack of diapers for just under $6 and figured I'd try them out.
This diaper did not meet my expectations at all!The sides did not have any type of give or stretch to them at all, making it difficult to get a snug fit around my daughter. The diaper was very stiff as well, and didn't mold to her body at all.The worst thing, however, was the lack of any absorbency - light pee diapers were ok, but anything heavier than that would just sit on top of the diaper and irritate her skin, or worse - ooze out the leg!
These diapers are not worth it when trying to save a few bucks, in my opinion. The ensuing diaper rash and carpet cleaning costs eat up any savings on buying these cheap diapers!

I'm so happy that someone else had the same experience with Targets diapers. We bought a pack to augment our regular supply of Pampers and Huggies, in case we ran out before getting to the store. They leaked, chafed and just were almost useless as a diaper. I was so disappointed because 99% of Targets products are very good.
