Tarts, tarts, and more tarts

Reviewing: Yankee Candle Wax Potpourri Warmer
Purchased at: Bed, Bath, And Beyond

My step-daughters brought me a present two years ago that has kept on giving and giving. When they asked their father what I would like, he had no idea. So they brought me a potpourri warmer from Yankee Candle with various potpourri tarts.

Tarts are scented wax that melt when a tea light (underneath) is lit. I have enjoyed this potpourri warmer especially in the winter because I enjoy scented candles. This warmer was the first one that I have ever owned.

And the tarts-- how can I explain how much I love the fragrance. My favorite is "Home Sweet Home." I lit it just a few minutes ago and I am enjoying the sharp scent of cinnamon.

My step-daughters explained that I can burn the tarts for about five tea lights. Anymore and the smell fades. Also, when I want to get rid of the wax on the top of the warmer, I pop the warmer into the freezer. In about 15 minutes or so, the tart wax is frozen and slips off the top of the warmer.

This is one of the best gifts I have been ever given.

Yankee Candle makes the best smelling stuff.

Thanks for the tip on getting the wax out of the top of the warmer....I have just been lining the warmer top with a square of foil so that I could pop it out if I wanted to try a new tart.

Glad I could help. I didn't know about this little tip until the Step-daughters saved me from a lot of time... I used to carve the stuff out with a knife. Not smart. ;-)

I love tarts. I have an electric burner but the ones using tealights are so much cuter.
