Task Force 9 Led Aluminum Flashlight By Lindy Smith on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Having light in an emergency or while camping is very important. While shopping at Lowe's, I recently saw the Task Force flashlight and picked up a couple. I've placed them in certain locations in my home in case of a power outage or for when I need to visit the attic. It requires 3 AAA batteries that come in the package. The light produced by the 9 high intensity LED bulbs is sufficient to maneuver around without fear of barking a shin or anything like that. It has a lanyard attached to it which is good for wrapping it around your wrist to ensure that you can have your hands free if you need them. There is a simple push button on the back of the flashlight that activates and deactivates it. The bulb is touted as a lifetime bulb, so I should never have to replace it. I haven't been able to verify that yet, but I'll get back to you... If you need some spare light for camping or emergencies, I'd highly recommend the Task Force flashlight.

This really sounds good, I guess I'd just have to purchase rechargeable batteries for this kind of flash light.

I prefer the one which requires no batteries. The one where you shake it up and down, then the light will turn on by itself..
