These are calcium supplements disguised as candy chews, and they taste much better than a typical pill. My doctor recommended that I take two a day to help prevent osteoporosis, since they contain both the calcium and the vitamin D needed to help with absorption.
Viactiv comes in a lot of flavors, such as chocolate, caramel, mint and raspberry. This is better than taking a typical pill, but they do contain some calories. Also, since this is simply a calcium supplement, it is not a substitute for a daily multivitamin.
This supplement is marketed toward women, but I don't see any reason why men who need calcium wouldn't be able to take them as well. Be aware that they do contain some dairy ingredients and are not suitable for vegans. The price is for a pack of 60 chews.

If I had these, I might want to actually take my vitamins. My doctor is always after me to take vitamins but they normally smell so horrible it turns me off.
