This Turkey Fryer will make a very good turkey. If you fry a turkey, you won't regret it.It is very juicy and you can't dry it out.You can also cook the turkey so much quicker than using the oven. That being said, I still only give the Bayou Classic Turkey Fryer a 3 out of 5.I probably would give any turkey fryer the same rating.

I knew when I bought the turkey fryer that they are very dangerous. You have to be around when you are frying. You can't turn it on and walk away.Aside from the danger of the turkey fryers, there are other downsides.

You have to put so much oil into this turkey fryer that it makes your turkey one expensive turkey. You will spend about $30 on oil (Tip - it is best to use Peanut Oil for best results.).Also, if you want a really tasty turkey, you will want to put a good rub on the turkey - more expense.

I have also been rained out.Twice I have planned on frying a turkey and it ended up raining that day - ruining my plans. You can't fry the turkey in the rain.
