TDK 4.7 GB120 min R47FCB100 DVDR
By Oliver Villegas onAmong DVD recordable medias, TDK's DVD+R is one of the more reliable ones. I have been using TDK media for years, back when CDs were still the media of choice, and I'm glad that TDK doesn't disappoint me with the quality of their DVDs. I remember that a certain independent organization put various brands to test, and proved that after simulating 50 years of damage and natural decay, TDKs media still retained the data reliably.
Back when my old DVD writer drive was faulty and kind of picky in terms of DVDs, I could basically distinguish quality discs from those with low quality. Burning on some DVD brands would waste money. But TDK remains very reliable, so I'm using it until today. Discs burned years ago still read great to this day.
TDK is one of the leading brands for CD and DVD media. I recommend this media over others. Aside from TDK, you might also consider HP DVD+R. Among different brands, they were the only ones that gave reliable DVDs on my old DVD drive.
