Tea and Moonlight Roses
By Sparkle333 onMy personal china is Old Country Roses, which is a blend of yellow, pink, and burgundy red roses with greenery on a white background. But my next favorite choice would have to be Moonlight Rose! What a dreamy, gorgeous china this is. I am reviewing a Moonlight Rose teapot that I purchased at Marshalls, for the phenomenal price of $29.99. That just doesn't happen for a large, Royal Albert bone china teapot, so I grabbed it right up the moment that I saw it.
The pattern is once again roses, but a darker blue rose, a light blue rose, and a bluish lavender-pink rose,on a white background. It is an amazing design, trimmed in gold. The teapot is so elegant and romantic. This is one of the teapots in my collection, that I enjoy displaying on a teacart in my dining room.
And you won't believe this. One day I was in another nearby town in an antique store, and I spotted a matching cup and saucer in Moonlight Rose, for a very reasonable price. I bought it immediately also. Now I have the beautiful teapot and the lovely cup and saucer all on display! Both pieces are so charming, and I enjoy seeing them daily. If you are looking for a beautiful china pattern, you won't be disappointed with Royal Albert's Moonlight Rose.
