Teapot Lamp

Lighting can make such a difference in the atmosphere of a room. I found the cutest blue and white teapot lamp on sale at Bealls Outlet.It is the perfect cottage style accent lamp. I plan to use it in the kitchen of a cottage that I am decorating. It has a wood pedestal stand, with a blue and white teapot base.

The shade is made of white cloth. The cottage has a blue and white kitchen (with touches of pink), with cobalt accent pieces, and this will be perfect on the kitchen counter.

The cottage will have lots of teapots and teacups throughout, as well as many rose accents. I plan to call it "Rose Cottage."

I also have a collectibles booth, where I sell lots of cottage and Victorian items, and a teapot like this one sold almost immediately for over twice what I paid for it. It sold for $45.00. It originally sold for $19.99, and I got it on sale for $10.00.

This will be the perfect accent light in our cottage, for the times when I don't need the overhead fluorescent fixture, or the chandelier. Sometimes I prefer a softer light for the evening hours.
