Yeaaaaaa Banana Boat! Finally a sunscreen that really does not sting the eyes!

Each year I try a couple different sunscreens in attempt to locate one that will not cause my now 9 year old son to scream and cry when I try and put it on his face.

Well, it's summer once again and in preparation for my sons ALL DAY field day at school, I went in search of sun screen for this year.I take into consideration ease of application, price, and ability to be used with sensitive skin (since both my son and I have allergies and can do without the irritation of the fragrences in a lot of lotions).

While I stood there in Walgreens scanning the TONS of bottles of sun screen, this one just jumped right out at me.Why you ask?Well, it advertised on the front in bold easy to see letters "Won't Sting Eyes."My first thought was, yeah, right. But I figured I had to buy something, so I'd give it a shot.

Well, it passed the test!My son let me put some on his face and not once did he complain about his eyes stinging. It was hot too, he was sweating like a pig and playing hard. There were buckets of water dumped on heads and water sprayed in faces....and much to my disbelief, this stuff really is "tear free."

But wait, is it a fluke? No!Not only did my son wear this stuff, but so did about 10 other kids who's mommies forgot sunscreen. Not one complaint out of any of them! And we've used it several times since then with no trouble either :0)Bannana Boat Tear Free has answered my prayers!THANKS Bannana Boat!

CONS:price, application is old fashioned rub on (but easy to rub in).

Hope I can find this one. I have really sensitive skin, and that eye area is the worst. I think the old-fashioned "rubbing it in" probably gets it everywhere better than spraying, but that might just be me! Nice work!

anything that works to protect a child's skin from cancer causing sun damage is worth the price. It is good to know Banana Boat offers this sting free formula. My children never had a stinging problem. Prolly cause they're so thick headed LOL!
