Technique Hard Anodized II 8 qt. Stock Pot with Locking Drain Lid is a great stock pot. It holds 8 quarts and has a lid with holes in it. The lid locks in place so that you can turn it over and drain whatever is in the pot. This eliminates the need for colander.The Technique hard stock pot lined with DuPont Teflon ScratchGuard nonstick coating which means easier to keep food from sticking. This pot supposedly is oven safe to 500 although I have not tried this.The Technique hard stock pot is 10 inches in height and 14 inches in diameter. This is a heavy pot. This pot needs to be hand washed. It also has a lifetime warranty.I like this pot. It's very nice when cooking large amounts of food such as pasta, sauces, soup, stew etc.
