This vtech cordless phone is 2.4 ghz. I like this phone because it has changeable facing and base plates. It has caller ID and call waiting. On top of that it has 5 polyphonic musical ring tones built in and you can program how you want someone's ring tone to sound when they call you.When the phone ringsit has flashing lights in other words you can mute the ring, but will still see the visual ringer. It also, has animations signal voice mail messages and a visual message indicator. Also you have a place you can hook up a headphone set in and it has a clip on the back you can attach to your clothing. It stores 45 memories for caller id and has a phone directory in which you can program 20 names and phone numbers. Vtech has great product and this is one of them. I love this phone because I can mute the ring when I don't want to be bother, but still see who's calling. I like assigning different ring tones to differernt numbers so that way I will know who is calling before I even answer the phone. I also, like changing the color of the phone it just makes things look brighter and different.
