Telus Internet

I used to have dialup internet that was really slow. So last year i decided to signa 3 year Telus High Speed Enhanced deal as a upgrade. I thought pretty good deal as this internet was 3 times faster than my old one. One day i went over to my friends house to use his computer as I had to send mine to be fix. I was absolutely amazed at the speed of his internet and when i asked him how much it was he said that it was 49.95/month, the exact same rate as my telus internet. I asked if I could cancel my contract but they said that I would have to pay a $120 cancellation fee. I originally wanted to switch over to Shaw because they had more stable internet speeds and the router was better but now I have to wait out the rest of my contract. I have also seen many cases on the internet where Telus provides services that could be better or cheaper and in some cases even both. Another problem is the service. Whenever I have a problem with my internet i tried to get a friend to fix it but they usually don't know anything either so I phoned the Telus Custimoer service. I didn't blame them for their long wait but when they finally got free there was this man with large accent. I could hardly understand what he was saying and whenever I said "Pardon me?" he would get angry. Im not against whatever race this mans from but it seems like everyone in Telus's Customer Service has a bad attitude. Eventually I pretended that the problem was fixed as a excuse to get away from this man. I had to hire someone to come over and help me for a hefty price. I seriously don't recommend Telus internet. Beter options like Shaw are out there.
