Reviewing: Texas Instruments Ti 30 X Iis
Purchased at: Best Buy

I bought this solar powered scientific calculator initially for my schoolwork in junior high.I have been using it constantly till my college years. The solar powered battery amazingly still works. The calculator boasts the same functions any other scientific calculator would have and remains useful throughout high school and college math and science courses. It is portable and easy to carry around in your pocket. The size and shape of the calculator also makes it very durable. No wonder it has lasted me all these years. If anyone is in need of a scientific calculator for school, I highly recommend the Texas Instruments TI-30X IIS.It will last you many years of school and provide the necessary functions to do well in your math and science courses.

I used to have a TI-30 when I was in high school, and I still have fond memories of it. The development of the TI-30 spared me from ever having to learn how to use a slide rule, and for that, I am forever grateful.
