Thankfully, it's not neon

When I first got this varnish in the mail, I thought to myself, "Wow, I hate this color." I'm just not the type of girl who wears shades like this. I don't love bright colors, and I dislike ones that scream "Barbie" to me.

Disregarding my initial reaction, I wanted to give the polish a chance since it's by OPI, and they usually make high quality products used in salons. I got this free as a win from entering Allure magazine's monthly giveaway for June, so if I didn't like it, I wouldn't feel like I was out anything. That's Hot! Pink is from the Mod About Brights Collection and is .5 fl. oz (15 mL). Hey, isn't that Paris Hilton's catchphrase "That's Hot"? Ugh.

There was no way I would put this on my fingernails. That would be too close to my eyes. It would distract me and drive me nuts since it's so flashy. I gave myself a pedicure with it and I have to say, not only do I NOT hate it, I quite like it as a toenail polish. It's a bold, medium, rose creme. I find this polish to be really shiny.

I painted my toes on 9/12/09 (Without base or topcoat) and on 9/26/09, I checked my toenails out. I noticed a small chip on the pinkie toe on my right foot. On the left foot, the toe second from the pinkie, had major chipping. There was barely any polish left on it. Otherwise, the polish looked great on all the other little "piggies." When I applied it, I only needed 2 coats. The first coat was pretty opaque, but was a little watery in some spots and see-through. The second coat made the polish look completely opaque, perfect and smooth.
