The Adventures Of Pinocchio By ArmyGirlfriend on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I think that The Adventures of Pinocchio is a good movie for people of all ages. It is rated G for general audiences, and contains content that is educational and inspiring for all people. It is the story of a rambunctious puppet who longs to be a real boy. Though it seems impossible at first, Pinocchio follows and believes in his dreams until finally he turns into a real boy. I believe that this sends positive messages to people everywhere, and gives an important message to children that is important. The voice of Pinocchio is played by the very popular Johnathan Taylor Thomas, and Gepetto is played by Martin Landau. In this spectacular live-action adventure Pinocchio searches for a way to become a real boy in a world of rules that he doesn't understand, but still accomplishes his dreams with the help of a very talkative cricket.

I really like this movie because it takes the classic cartoon I have always liked made by Disney, and turned it into a real movie with live actors. We watch it and the Disney animated version on the same nights for double-feature movie nights and the combination makes for a great family experience. We've had many talks about comparing the digital to the live actors so the movie makes for great family discussions for us as well as quality family time.
