The Amazing Spider-Man
By Maliki2 onIf anyone used to collect comics like I did back in the early 80s, I remember The Amazing Spider-Man as being one of my favorites! With the recent releases of the Spider-Man movies, Spidey hasn't been more popular than he is at this time.
I decided I would check the Marvel site and see if I still enjoyed the comic. I purchased a subscription to The Amazing Spider-Man and have enjoyed the series since. The price of the book is $2.99 US/ 3.50 CAN. But you can save on a little discount if you order the subscription through the Marvel site itself.
Basically the comic is about the many wonderful stories of Spider-Man. He battles all kinds of old and new villians. The comic is rated A for adult though. The comic has come a long way since the days when I was young and you wouldn't have to worry about ratings. Although rated for A for Adult, I wouldn't worry about letting a child who loved comics or Spider-Man read it.
There has been alot of different writers and illustrators, but I haven't been dissapointed yet! If your a fan of Spider-Man or comics, or both, please check out "The Amazing Spider-Man"!
I used to read this all the time, until i discovered porn. Then i thought to myself man, Spider-Man must have gotten the ladies... bein a superhero and all. So i made a costume but couldn't really fit into it, so it looked kinda weird. Then i used silly string for my web shooters... but the first time i covered a "bad guy" in that.... he just looked at me then kicked my ass. ANYWAY.... this was a good comic.....
