The Apple I Touch By Stephen Kelly on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Apple iPod Touch, or iTouch, as Christened by many Apple enthusiasts has revolutionized the portable MP3 Player industry.

When it was released a few years ago at the Apple Mac World Expo, it couldn't be kept on the store shelves. Clearly the hottest new 'toy' from Steve Jobs' computer company.

With three different 'flavours' of the iTouch, the 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB versions offer a taste for everyone.

Apple has also intruduced the Apple App Store. With Applications avaliabe for download for a small cost, (most for $0.99), and many free. As the Television ads say; “There's an app for everything,”.

The iTouch, Apple's first iPod with wireless Internet access, is truely revolutionary. A user can surf the Internet, (with Apple's Safari web browser), or chat on Facebook, Twitter, or other Sites with the numorous apps avaliable for download, while listening to their user defined playlist, or by itself.

With a battery life that can last up to 255 hours on stand-by mode, the Apple iTouch is clearly the winner in that field.

At a starting price of $270.00, it's a little pricey for some, but deffinately worth the cost, for all the features, and add-ons avaliable.
