The Arcade Fire Funeral By Derek Dubois on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This band is one of my favorite bands of all time. This album is also one of my favorite albums of all time. The band itself is Canadian and it would be considered an alternative/indie band. They gained their fame from Bowie endorsing them. The music itself is highly eclectic in that it utilizes a wide variety of instruments from accordians to the regular guitar. They use both male and female vocalists. The lyrical content of the music tends to be more morose and it deals with death (the title of the album gives you a clue) and it's good if you're into downer type music. It's a very satisfying album in that every part of it is enjoyable and every song sticks out wonderfully. They also sing in french during one of their songs. It's, overall, a beautiful music group.
