The Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
By Derek Dubois onThis is the next album from the band The Arcade Fire. It was done in a cathedral area hence their use of an organ in this album. This album was not as ground breaking as their best album, funeral, which I regard as a masterpiece. Anyways, this album stands well on its own. It's cohesive like their Funeral album, and it's morose like their Funeral album, still, the tracks are still great on their own and they all stand well apart from each other in that you know the tracks individual from other tracks. They don't bleed one into the other. They bring a song in from their original EP but in this one they use an organ to emphasize the song. It's a well done remake of the song (No Cars Go). As I've said before, the instrumentation of the band is eclectic (the organ tells you), and the vocals are well done as well. I love this band.
