My daughter loves the Berenstain Bears and she loves books about family vacations so I knew that she would love this book. I purchased the hardcover edition of this book. It has a wonderful colorful book jacket and great illustrations inside to match. If your child enjoys stories about the beach they will really enjoy this because the bear family goes to the beach for their vacation. My daughter always laughs at Papa Bears goofy antics. This book is good because it shows kids that even though family activities might not always go as planned that you can still make special memories and enjoy each other. The Bear Family members interact with each other in a way that your child will relate to in their own family. The book design will keep your child's attention. They will love all of the pictures that relate to the story. My daughter is a 5 year old kindergartner and she really enjoys this. The book jacket states that it is for ages 4-8.
